New thoughts

I randomly remember that I even have this blog. Now is one of those times.

I'm thinking about adding members, specifically my kelly. I think it would be cool for us to post together in a blog about all sorts of stuff. Maybe she wants her own. I think we will talk about it today after I get home from work.

Anyways, I'm at work cleaning this Gateway laptop, and its just about finished. What a PITA this thing was.

Check out my local car forum to see whats going on: http://forums.240sxone.com

Well I'll check back in later.

I'm using sand dollar to relate to my living on Cape Cod. Pretty horrible huh?

So, let me tell you all a little about my computer. Please note this page will be all of the issues I have with my computer at any given time of day.
Specs:
Soyo Dragon KT400 Black Edition
AMD Athlon XP 2100+ Retail
Kingston 512MB ValueRam
Sony CRX140E 40x Burner
Pioneer DVD-106 Slot loading DVD drive
Maxtor 60GB DiamondMax HDD (2) in RAID 0
Western Digital 120GB Caviar 8MB
All of this is in my brand new, Kelly bought, Antec Sonata Piano Black Silent Case!!

So, Kelly got me the Need For Speed Collection for XMas (which is amazing), But Porsche Unleashed is being wicked shitty. The loading screens and such are in a horrible 640x480. I've read everything about this situation and its only because my GF3 Ti200 isn't an older card that uses DX7 so it will never look pretty like it did on my GF2 GTS! That is horrible! I can run the game at 1600x1200, but the loading screens are at 640x480? Thats really weak EA.

My next purchase will probably be an AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Barton Core. $90 is a sweet deal!

More later!
